SEX IN MUSIC: Samantha Fox – Naughty Girl’s Pants Come Off

Publishing History

High Society - Dec. 1991

“Samantha Fox: Naughty Girl’s Pants Come Off” originally was published in the Dec. 1991 issue of High Society magazine.

Facing stiff competition from the likes of Sabrina and Madonna, this former “Page Three” girl-turned international pop star is hotter than ever!

By Nik Flandrè

“It’s not as easy as it seems to get into my pants without getting into me”

So sings Samantha Fox in “Hurt Me! Hurt Me! (But The Pants Stay On)” from her new Jive album Just One Night. And who wouldn’t like to spend just one night getting into her? This petite, blonde Brit has the best boobs in the music biz — and what’s better, she’s not afraid to show them off. You can find her unbelievably buxom torso on buttons, posters, and calendars….

Unfortunately, the closest you can probably cum to having Sam is listening to her breathy sighs on her new album and looking at these hot pix of our favorite pop tease. (And this naughty girl is quite a tease — just listen to her lip on “But The Pants Stay On.”) And we’ve got all of her to ogle!

DOWN ‘N’ DIRTY
This if Fox’s fourth album since giving up her incredibly rewarding erotic modeling career (she gave up showing it off at the tender age of 21, we might add). Since then, she’s told us of “Naughty Girls” and begged us to “Touch Me, I Want To Feel Your Body.” You might think our delicious, young naughty girl has gotten down dirty with her “Hurt Me! Hurt Me! (But The Pants Stay On)” hit single. But actually, the “Hurt Me” is clubspeak for “pump up the bass, DJ.” Still, it’s a provocative mix, intro’ed by producers Full Force who quip about Janet Jackson’s “big butt.” Fox shows she’s got a sense of humor about her full figure as the Full Force guys “point her out” during the intro after Jackson and Madonna, saying “The other blonde, the one from England with the big _ _ _ _. Oh, that’s the Fox!”

SENSUAL AS A FOX
We get another taste of Fox’s sensuality in the “More, More, More/Love To Love You Baby” medley, introduced with a sample of “good sex, good sex” and again, Full Force show up in between Fox’s hot orgasmic “ooohs” with the exclamation, “The body rocks, Sa-Sa-Sa-Sa Samantha Fox.” She goes on to oooh and groan and repeatedly cries, “Mmmmm. I want more. Give me more!” It’s all a guy can do to stop from answering her: “I’ll give it all to you, Samantha!” She goes on to taunt us with “Do it to me again, you put me in such a spin, such a spin. In, ooh, uh, uh, ooooh.” All her panting groans can make you cum just by listening.

She gets in a sexy groove again when she sings “Work it baby, make me sweat, see how funky the Fox can get,” in “Don’t Wait Up.” The
title track oozes along in a sensuous soul mode with Fox softly urging the listener to imaginative ecstasy: “As we lay down here together on this soft, warm bed…I love it when you touch me here, when you touch me there, and when you touch me right here…and the way your body touches my body, it penetrates to the feeling deep, deep inside. The way you make love excites me. Everywhere — my neck, my lips, my feet. Can you see? But then again, you’ve got to be real good in order to make love to me.”

NOT LONG ENOUGH
Whew. She blows the mood of the song at the end when she trills, “Naughty girls need love too,” after taunting her lover by calling him Speedy and noting: “Well, you don’t last that long, do you? What’s wrong with you?… The guys are getting all the headaches these days.”

I think we could find some guys who’d last plenty long without headaches for the Fox!

“Pleasure Zone” rocks along without so much sex talk (though you wouldn’t think it from the title), sounding just like Janet Jackson’s “Escapade.” There’s more variety to this Fox record, since there are several producers besides Full Force working with her (they did the first four tracks). It’s still Fox all the way — if you liked her before, you’ll still love her (or fantasize about it anyway). She says after touring the world, she knows what her fans like: “The ballsier the record, the harder the guitar — whatever — if it goes down better. And this album is pumpin’.” Well it makes you want to be pumpin’ anyway — pumpin’ her! And that’s just what she wants.

“I don’t want to be taken more seriously,” she says. “I just want my music to be enjoyed and have people looking at my record covers.”

That we do, Sam.

The album ends with “What You See Is What You Get,” prompting us to ask, “How can we get One Night With You?”
